Magnet Care Instructions for your magnetic sign

Any quality of magnet can damage your vehicle if you do not care for it properly. Magnets that are left on a vehicle’s paint job that are NEVER removed and cleaned will cause damage to your paint job. The good news is, with a few simple steps, you will get the most use out of your magnets and protect your auto at the same time.

When applying the magnets on the side panels or doors of your vehicle, make sure it is cleaned and completely dry before placing the magnets down. The magnets should be flush and flat along the side of the vehicle. They should not raise up on any type of body molding/curves or spaces in between doors (where air can get up underneath the magnet); if so, your magnet may fly off while driving. Magnets are not not to be used on the hood or top trunk of the vehicle. Tempatures that reach over 130 degrees can be bad for the magnet and paint.

Magnets ARE NOT PERMAMINT SIGNS. You should remove them from time to time when not in use and ALWAYS CLEAN and DRY the magnet and vehicle. Always store magnets flat. You will get the most life out of your car magnetics.
